Teewurst – buy online

The Grobe Teewurst / Mettwurst from mundet.de/Teewurst  went into my cart because it was on sale. When I tried it I was immediately hooked. The slight vinegary taste of the curing seasonings add a good tang, and the meat tasted, well, uncooked. It is a coarse mix with an excellent fat-to-meat ratio.A look at the package revealed that this is, in fact, an uncooked, cured spread (it’s perfectly safe, when properly handled, and ready-to-eat). It is no longer on sale, but it remains on my list. Anyone who like steak tartare or kitfo or just sneaking bits of raw ground beef before it goes onto the grill should give it a try.
